Noke Bio: Vickie - Van One's Reasonable One

This is Vickie.

Also known as Keets. (I also like to call her the Reasonable One. No, really. Out of 14 people, only ONE of us qualifies for that title.)

A little about Vickie. She is married with three grown children and two granddaughters. She is also the mom of a 13 year old black lab/border collie mix. If you're looking for a gift for Vickie, she collects hedgehog items. She has a grand-hedgehog and two grand-ferrets. (I had a ferret as a child. I guarantee that some people are missing shoes or other personal items. And they can probably find those behind the fridge.)

Vickie enjoys running, quilting, crafting, rock painting, and gardening.

She also happens to be a retired Respiratory Therapist, something that may come in handy for any of us that are not adequately trained to run our relay legs.

Vickie has been running for four years now, competitively for three, so obviously it's time to take on a Ragnar. This crazy woman (no really, she called herself that) thought that this challenge looked interesting and signed up totally voluntarily.

Vickie is also familiar with our focus charity, Girls on the Run. She ran the Celebration 5k last year and plans to sign up as a Running Buddy for the race this year.

Fun Fact about Vickie: She can wake up at any time of day and exist. She is neither crazy Ercilia happy nor annoyed Sunshine grumpy first thing in the morning. Thus, she has to room with crazy happy Ercilia when we get to D.C. It's the only way Ercilia will survive this trip. Vickie is the only one that can handle it.

I'm personally excited to have Vickie as one of my Van One runners. She's probably going to have to be the one to keep Julia on track and the rest of us in line.
